Permit Applications
- For HDB owners, we assist in applying for the various renovation work permits from HDB.
- For private home owners, we will submit your application/s to the respective MCSTs and also settle
the refundable security deposit (if any) with them.
Permit application has to be submitted before work commences. Upon approval, the installation / renovation
has to fall within the job scope of the application. For example, if your application is for casement window
installation, do not install sliding windows.
We will execute the proper permit application procedures in accordance with BCA and HDB ruling. We will also absorb
extra expenses (if any) like refundable deposits, lift protection cushion covers and administration fees
which may incurr during submission.
Understanding the procedures and proper submission of documents for permit application is very important.
It will prevent unnecessary penalties, disputes and danger (of your installations) in the future.
If proper documentations are not in place, you may be indicted in unneccessary hassles hindering home sales /
rentals which may result in additional re-installation and replacement costs or fines.
Homeowners are strongly adviced to read the permit / application carefully and to check if there are any discrepancies in
the company name and job scope. If there is any doubt, it is best to highlight and clarify before actual work start.
And, do keep all relevent documents in a safe place for future reference.
